Ms. Jug Maya Chaudhary is a licensed clinical psychologist in Nepal (NHPC No. 23). She studied Clinical Psychology (M.Phil) in Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health, Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal. She has also studied Anthropology (M.A.) in Department of Anthropology, Tribhuvan University and Bachelors in Law from Nepal Law Campus, Kathmandu, Nepal.

She is passionate about developing the field of clinical psychology, increasing its scope and application to promote psychological well-being in Nepal. She has experience in counselling, psychotherapy, research and teaching. She has worked with several national and international organizations, academic institutions and hospitals like Aasara Drug Rehabilitation Center, SOS Children Village, KOSHISH, Medicines Du Monde (MdM), K & K International College, British Gurkha College, Padma Kanya College and Samarpan Academy of Crisis Management.

Currently, she is working as a Clinical Psychologist in Birendra Hospital (Nepal Army Hospital). She has experience in dealing with cases related to anxiety, depression, psychosis, substance-related problems, interpersonal issues, post-traumatic stress disorder etc.
