Psychologists have usually completed MA in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from Tribhuvan University. They have knowledge of various theories of psychology and psychotherapy. They are eligible to practice counseling and psychotherapy in an individual capacity or with registered firms/NGOs after completion of the Masters’s degree and some years of experience under the supervision of senior professionals.
