About speakers

Dr. Yubaraj Adhikari has worked over two decades in the humanitarian field and followed various projects to provide services to the people affected by conflict. Currently, he is working for the International Committee of Red Cross in Myanmar. Yubaraj studied counseling and mental health psychology in Nepal and the UK. He recently accomplished his doctoral degree in applied psychology from the University of Nicosia, Cyprus. His major contribution to Nepalese psychology remains in addressing the trauma of conflict-affected population and research in workplace mental health with a focus on the distress of Nepali doctors, mental health & psychosocial professionals, and staff of corporate sectors.

Ms. Sunita Shrestha is psychologist  working in psychosocial field since two decades. She has graduated in nursing as well. She is founder and director of ANTARANG Psychosocial Research and Training Institute.

Dr. Kapil Dev Upadhyaya is a senior consultant psychiatrist & advisor at the Centre for Mental Health and Counselling (CMC) Nepal. He has also served as a director at Mental Hospital, Lagankhel.
