Sajha Dhago Nepal (Common Threads Nepal) was initially launched in Nepal in 2014 by Common Threads Project (CTP) international conducting an intensive training course in collaboration with TPO Nepal and UNHCR to assist refugee women from various countries. Sajha Dhago Nepal, subsequent expansions of the Nepal program previously supported by TPO Nepal (with financial assistance from UNHCR and UNICEF) have been initiated to serve diverse populations in need, including Rohingya refugees, survivors of sex trafficking, and exploited teen girls since 2019. The current initiative has developed new community partnerships with Kumudini and Asha Nepal, both organizations serving girls and women who have been subjected to exploitation, trafficking, and abuse. Nepali clinical team has developed the expertise to take responsibility for the programs and supervision of the facilitators supported by the international team of CTP.
